And you’re using it wrong

Ha,
Do you really think that your case is unique? That no one except you drives a stock car and is thinking of upgrading their sway and or strut bar? Dude, that’s like the bread and butter of any car forum. There’s always someone asking about whether or not they should get sways. What sways are best. How to sway under $200. How do I install sways? Can I sway while I sway? Yada yada.

On top of which, you don’t actually KNOW what either of them does. So your entire premise is irrelevant because to ask whether you need them for daily driving means to first understand what they do.

I can understand if, having no first-hand experience, you’d have difficulty of judging whether you would want to increase the front chassis rigidity or to increase the front roll stiffness in a corner… but really, that’s been re-hashed already, there are hundreds of opinions on this matter and once again, your case is not unique.

Yes, the point here is NEW.
Your thread brings nothing new to the table. There is no reason to have a new conversation because it is already going on, all you’d be doing is going off tangent.
This is partly where the “research” comment comes in. If you understood what “research” entails then you would know that one only enters the conversation when they have something new to offer.
What you did, is interject with a banal “hey guys watcha talking about” when the rest of the interlocutors are on the brink of discovering the meaning of life. (hyperbole).

You say you “know the internet” but you’re not giving it one ounce of respect.

I swear your reading comprehension is extremely poor. I have already counteracted your arguments but you clearly don't understand how to read them while looking at the big picture I already explained.

I was here for guidance, and received it. All you have done is blown this out of proportion And have been a complete asshole.

I ask one dumb, informed question and I receive a parade of pretentious responses. This is one great community.

I'm merely explaining to you the error of your thought process

if you're going to continue getting angry and "offended" then that only proves my point

also note how many insults you've throw my way? My reading ability is more than adequate (although I did have an issue reading the likes of David Foster Wallace) and the only pretentious person here is you, who thinks that he deserves his own thread for a question the answer to which can be googled in less than 5 seconds.

Why are some people so unwilling to take constructive criticism? How does people like that have massive egos?
It all comes down to, maturity.

There was no error, and even if there was, I don't need you to explain it to me.

You destroying and bashing this thread is far worse than me creating it.

I came here clearly stating that I was a complete noob to car modifications. I received guidance and MOST people were able to help me and I thanked them. If that's not taking constructive criticism, then I don't know what is. 7thgear is just raging because I didn't search, or "research" enough to his standards.

But gee, if I didn't delete my computer history daily, I could show him everything I looked at prior to making this thread.

Did you deliberately ignore the bulk of his post before you started having a go at him?

So save your money and continue on enjoying your car.

As the first step in upgrading your car is understanding what specific problem in handling it is that you can address. So until you can explain what issues you're having while operating the vehicle, even thinking about "upgrading" is a futile effort.
Awesome demonstration of taking constructive criticism.

No I didn't ignore him because I actually read everything.

He doesn't deserve a thank you because he made a completely false accusation with his hostile response. Had he left that beginning part out, this thread wouldn't have become a compete disaster.

I know that he knows what he is talking about when it comes to cars and I'm sure he has a wealth of information, but he doesn't need to continuously give the attitude that he has been giving to me.

That was not hostile sunshine, talk about being a precious/over sensitive daisy.
To use the same logic on you, you don't deserve any help for not or failing extremely hard at "research", especially with that attitude?
There was no need for you to arc up at all.

I said I did A LITTLE research, I never stated how much it was. I thought that stating A LITTLE was sufficient enough. There is no reason for him to assume I did nothing prior to making this thread.
