Idk exactly how it works, except from the videos I've seen on it...but it kinda sounds like Ohlins' unique piston valve design, where there are different sized ports in the piston and valves that open and close during different shaft speeds (for ultra digressive performance)..I could be wrong though... Is the Spool Valve/DSSV (on the Z28) pretty much similar to the piston concept of the Ohlins (like the R&T Ohlins and all their other dampers)?

A Cayman is a WAY better starting platform than a 911. If Porsche could give it 911 level suspension and engine output it would destroy 911 sales.
I love 911's, but from a physics standpoint a Cayman is far superior.
