MX-5 and 86 are very close in price, so it makes sense to compare them. s2k is almost $10k more, a totally different league of price/performance.

3:50. This was probably mentioned already but never saw this review before. :P

If that's the case, you must be better driver than anyone. We'll be expecting vid of you racing. Without vid, it's just a talk

Calling someone who is a professional driver "suck", he really needs to prove that he can do better.

Exactly. The drivers were having some fun, and the TV station wanted some "heightened reality", so they had the Toyota hang out the tail to play up the supposed handling differences between it and the BRZ. They arranged the cars so the BRZ and Toyota would pass the Miata.

some of you don't know the meaning of a debate. some have stated their case that BRZ didn't give up the line but in reality he did. whether the show was biased towards the GT or maybe the BRZ driver just wanted a closer race between the GT. we don't know but a professional driver doesn't make that mistake.

you will probably see a track vid but not racing. we plan on renting Horse Thief Mile later this year and have our first 30 owners drive their cars so they can enjoy it in a track enviroment.

i said he either "sucked or it was fixed".

people stated who the driver of the BRZ was and rattled off his credentials. so he either slowed down for the GT to make it a closer race or was told that the BRZ could not win during the taping.

Between those 2, I'll take "fixed" over "sucked".

They are shifting at 99 Kilometers per hour in 2nd gear...that is 61.5 MPH.

14.3 1/4 mile in the 86? Damn!

Speed lies, adding a few % on top of the true speed.

Good videos. Kind of nails down the FT vs MX-5 question.
