With how much Subaru didn't screw us I almost can't pass up the chance however Talking to the dealership I mentioned I had a pre-order for the FRS as well and that its coming in May for me to see if they would sweeten the pot and all I got was "Well Subaru is a much more prestigious brand and that kind of soured my feeling towards the dealer

yea, they honestly don't care..subaru dealers are getting so few at this point i'm just relieved they are charging MSRP.

I was under the impression that Specialty motors (North Van) wasn't sure if they were getting any at all?, i was told that from a few people, including a salesman from THAT dealer.. . I've vowed never to deal with that dealer, ever since i was charged $160 for a synthetic oil change on my STI (JUST the oil change, nothing else). Same service at Richmond? $98

Also, whenever I go there to look for STIs or WRXes, they seriously NEVER have them. They're like "we usually Never get performance oriented subaru's here". Which sort of makes me believe they wont' get many BRZs

Wow, North Van Subaru sounds like it has a bunch of stuck ups lol, I would be surprise if they don't charge you a huge of market adjustment fee

Actually, if i remember correctly, they had at the time, a brand new 05 sti and they were marking it up like $3000 over MSRP. Because it was WRB and had the gold BBS..which are NOT extra cost options.

I say this because they are getting 3 the first shipment (all 3 sport-tech/ 1 manual WRB(MINE!??), 1 auto SWP, 1 auto Silver), and for the 2nd/Last shipment, they MAY get 1 OR 2 More(unknown spec), and that's it till next model year. I've heard they took deposits from more than 8 people now though.

They told me the silver was suppose to be manual. I'm hoping to get that one.

I'd call just to double check. They're not exactly "on the ball" all the time.

I told them my preference was WRB/Manual/Sport-tech.

I get a call from the service Manager about a week later . "Hey cory, we have a car close to what you want! (ME) Really? what is it? (Manager) It's a Satin white Automatic Premium"...lol..i had to say "None of what you said is what i want"

i called up langley subaru and they said they had no information on the car

and called up richmond subaru around two weeks ago they said their only getting 8 all in manual and limited edition and that he'll happily take my deposit

can anybody shed some information on this whole situation?

I thought Richmond Subaru was taking nonrefundable deposits.

I've been told that only 3 are coming to richmond subaru, ALL sport-tech, 1 manual WRB, 1 Auto SWP, and 1 auto OR manual Silver(don't know for sure). They weren't certain on how many they were going to get on a Second shipment..they said likely 1 or 2 more. I talked to them about 7 days ago.

I dont' know who you spoke too, but right on my terms on the paperwork, i Made sure they added "refundable - Subject to Test drive, Specifications, Price"

I'll go tomorrow to add that to the paperwork. they haven't processed my pre-order yet and I haven't signed anything.

Scion Surrey wrote that in the agreement and I initialed it which is fine by my personal terms.
