Those are 22mm MO fittings (Metric O-Ring) and not designed for copper crush washers. Did they not supply a torque spec for those fittings? According to a manual I wrote a while back, the ORB fittings on a Setrab core should be torqued to 29.5 ft-lbs and you should be using a wrench on the Setrab core to prevent that torque from ripping the fitting off of the core. Furthermore, the o-rings need to be lubed prior to installing the fittings to prevent them from galling and/or bunching up. Also be sure to use a wrench to support the MO fitting when installing the AN fitting as well.

Looks clean! Did you leave the blast shield off on the drivers side over the injectors or did you make it fit? Mine is still off and I can't tell if yours fit on or not.

I installed both.. I've done three kits now and have not had a problem installing any of the shields.. Though I will say that doing mine I couldn't get the bolt hole lined up, and being a auto there seems to be more wiring going over the tab making it harder when I realized the injector was holding it back, spun the injector around and it went right on. That was the passenger side but maybe something to look at.

I'm researching now the torque capacity and longevity of the automatics.. I see them holding 400+ hp and 350+ torque but can't find out if they are still running that.. Oil coolers are crazy expensive lol..

I put my own tran cooler together and just installed it. I'm in it for ~$350 with the gauge. I didn't install a pump though - waiting to see if that's needed.

We still get the discount on the oil cooler if we bought the kit, right? I still need to pick one up.

Yes, your coupon code might be expired, just call them and they honor the 20% discount. Actually they gave me 3 coupon code. wink wink @KraftWerks.

BTW: We have another "Twisted Sister's Run" on 10-11. Hope you can make it this time w/ SC installed.

I'm doing R&D on a transmission cooler right now. Full data logging and analysis before and after with discussion of results.

Of course!

Just give us a call so we can either extend the code so you can order at your own convenience over the web or we can simply extend the same deal right then over the phone!
