Chris, 275 A7s will be your answer in TT3, but you can come desperately close with a 255 on a 10" wheel.

Get a J's Racing Type S v2 widebody. That would let you put wide tires under you.

Science of Speed twin scroll turbo kit with the V mount intercooler/radiator setup is at the top of my list unless LJ @ Full Blown comes out with a V mount setup. I do like the Spoon setup, and I am never mad at some CE28Ns, but I plan to keep the fenders stock and Weds are more affordable for wheels.

I think I am already going to have enough issues getting clearance for a BBK and 245 width A7s on the OEM fenders. Definitely don't want to try a 275, and I am thinking at 3000 lbs or under and around 330 whp the 245s and aero should be enough. We will have to see as I build the car and get it on track. It might end up in TTB or TT2 as well.

Too much money, and I don't think I need the extra tire width. Using the NASA TT calculator:

3000 lbs 330 whp 245 A7 = TT3
3000 lbs 315 whp 275 A7 = TT3

So the step up from 245 to 275 is at the cost of 15 whp. Of course my Mugen replica hard top costs me 15 whp too.

I understand too much money. I had just wanted one when I was planning out the S2000 I didn't end up buying, so I wanted to live vicariously.

The mugen hardtop adds 15 hp worth of weight, but does it grant any improvements, such as aero or whatever? Is it worth the 15 hp loss?

VTEC bro. I read that a lot of turbo guys actually tune the crossover down into the 3000 RPM range instead of the 6000 RPM that mine is set at right now.

It isn't worth that HP loss, but it is worth the good looks. I may end up getting an OEM replica top if I get really competitive.

I haven't bought any parts yet. What are you talking about? The hardtop was my only purchase thus far and it was cause it was a used great local deal.
