SOLD: Radium Engineering Catch Can kit specific to our BRZ/FR-S
SOLD
Radium Engineering Catch Can kit specific to our BRZ/FR-S. Comes with everything you need to install and even extra hose just in case. I realized that I'm not catching anything on the crankcase side of things so I'm selling this. I have mine mounted opposite as I have the Innovate supercharger, because the hose was a little shorter this way. For the non-Innovate supercharger people this is the PCV Valve kit (or Innovate that use a little longer hose), which is where I'm catching quite a bit of oil/spend fuel. Selling the kit for $180 (cost $220 plus s/h on Radium's site). This is great for not only the track enthusiasts but enthusiastic street drivers as well. It prolongs the life of the engine by not allowing re-circulation of unspent fuel/oil which slowly damages the engine. Regardless this kit can be used for either the PCV or the crankcase. All you'd need to do is use the extra hose I provide to run it to the correct spot. Info from Radium Auto's website: The "PCV Valve" kit mounts on the right side of the engine bay. This catch can runs inline with the 3/8" PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) valve. When the intake manifold pressure is close to or greater than atmospheric pressure, the PCV "check" valve closes and, thus, this hose experiences no flow. Conversely, the PCV hose will experience "metered" vacuum when the engine is idling, steady state cruising, and decelerating. This would normally draw unwanted crankcase vapor, unspent fuel, and oil sludge into the intake manifold immediately after a high load run. Note: Because the Radium catch cans are pressure sealed, they are great for boosted applications as well so connecting to the intake manifold is permitted.

You'll catch more in the pvc one even with N/A or at least that's what I've read from others as well.

You can use this for either one. All you need is the extra hose I'm providing to hook it up to the crank case since it's a little further away. It's an either or type of thing, not exclusive to one or the other.
