I was confused about that as well myself - I have the Scion one instead of the TRD one. I like it though.

Me too for both points. Apparently so was my dealership as it says TRD spoiler right on the bill of sale. Wonder if there is a price difference they may owe me some cash.

Paint used was VHT Niteshades. I have a picture of some measurements I took but I doubt it would help with actual placement and centering, there are 4 ridges/ lines that are in the turn signal part of the taillight I used the end of those lines and the chrome on the pieces on top and bottom of the turn signal part of the tail light as reference points as to where I would mask it off. Tips of advise, use good masking tape, use knife less vinyl wrap cutting tape in order to get a clean line, spray 3-4 coats, wetsand 1500 grit and polish with a good compound. Then they will turn out like how mine did. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The TRD ones technically aren't for sale in the US. (I'm referring to the duckbill spoiler and the high rise one.) Sent from Tandy 400 |

Finally got a dashcam. Also inherited a gps today. Made the install look all nice and neat. Love the charging port in the glove compartment.

Changed to new wheels/tires in between track days this weekend. The old Sumitomo tires were chunking badly.
The new setup is 235/40/17 Nitto NT05 on 17x8 TC105N. Only picture I have from my crappy cell phone camera:

Installed my LED DRL strips over the weekend, following the DIY here. Pretty straightforward, here's some tips:
- If tapping the cigarette lighter wire behind the glovebox, take the glovebox off, and find someone with small hands to get in there (the DIY seems to show a lot of space, I had some weird box labeled something-something-ECU in the way) - I had to make a slit in the rubber grommet to push the red power wire into the cabin. - when prying the old foglight bezels off, start from the inner corners/tips and work your way up. No need to really pry it - as soon as you get a finger into the inner corner, just slip a flat object (corner of a credit card works) into the places where the clips are (look at the new bezel to check where the clips are) and it will pop out with slight outward pulling. It is really, awesomely bright at full power. I would say temperature of the LED's are somewhere around 5k, a little on the cool white side. Alex of Fuzion Teknique (@F-T) is an awesome guy, easy to deal with, and very accommodating. |
