I was at the reveal on Wednesday. I love everything on the car up to the front clip. Its all mini F-Type with some bmw z in it. BUT I'm in the camp that feels the front looks too much like a catfish with a boxers mouth guard. Some angles its just fugly. I was holding out for this reveal to see if i would trade in the FRS for it, but it's a no for me unless the 2200lbs is mated to a 200+hp powertrain with a hardtop option. Then it's a maybe.

Tried that and even with a second set of hands we couldn't. Just bought them from the dealership, $3 a pop.

If you missed Monterey Car Week this year (like me), this might make you swear you'll catch it next year.

So I was on a date sunday night, I decided to drive my date up skyline for the view, we came across a e30 bmw drift car at 9pm and had a blast blowing thru the golflinks/skyline hill side, it was dead and to my surprise the e30 driver lives off skyline where all the tall trees are, must be pretty cool to drive out there everyday to get home haha

I think every woman I ever dated would have hated me if I did that.

Does anyone know the reason for this? My only exhaust mods are a dual canister style catback exhaust. Both primary and secondary cats are still in place.

When I accelerate up to ~4k rpm in 2nd gear and then let off the gas, if I push every so slightly on the gas pedal when it's decelerating, I will get a series of semi-loud popping sounds/burbles that sound like deep rapid fire air puffs.

It's a pretty cool sound and I often find myself giving that tiny super slight amount of throttle on the decel in that 4k to 3k range to hear it. If I just let it decelerate normally without my foot on the pedal it doesn't happen.

So, I'm wondering why it would happen with the slight throttle input like that. Any ideas? Could this be harmful or damaging anything? I'm also curious to see if it will still happen after I flash my car with the OFT.

It kinda sounds like this Jaguar but less of an aggressive POP sound, more like deep "poof" sounds.

Just had @Neal@EQtuning install my Perrin catback. Quick, painless and it sounds awesome. Looking forward to the meetup at EQ Tunning in October. Thanks guys.
