I just flashed my car back to stock last night for an autox. About a mile down the road I was slowing down to turn and the car stalled. I started it back up and drove the 10ish miles home without issue.

I assume it was just a throttle calibration issue and isn't a problem but if someone could agree I'd feel a bit better. Isn't there a post somewhere about how to calibrate the throttle quicker? I'm not finding it.

I could be wrong here, but most of the time when people complain about the dead pedal feel its because they didn't give the ECU time to adjust the VVT exhaust settings.

Did you flash the ECU and let it idle for ~1 minute without touching the accelerator pedal before setting off? As for the stall, what map were you on before the flash and what map did you flash to? Did you notice what your trims were at when you stalled?

They need to come up with a 94 tune.
The difference between a 93 octane tune and a 94 octane tune would be rather minimal considering the difference between the 91 and 93 is tiny. At that point if you are concerned with squeaking out every last bit of a tune to take advantage of the 1 octane point difference you'd probably be best with an E-Tune or dyno tune.

I went from the e85 EL header map back to the original map. And I probably didn't let it idle. I'm pretty sure that's all it was. What probably concerned me more than anything was a light I hadn't seen (steering wheel with ! that the manual says is just a keyless ignition diagnostic light). No worries.

Probably some residual E85 in the tank caused the stall. I wouldn't be terribly concerned as long as you were not driving to aggressive after the flash and you got all the E85 worked out of the lines.

Can anyone help me. My car keeps throwing a check Engine. Everytime I flash it goes away for ~200 miles and then comes back on, even on original file. I noticed that when it does come on my car doesn't rev match properly for example, I'd downshift coming to a stop and the revs don't shoot up at all they stay low. Any help here would be greatly appreciated

Do you have a catless header? You may have to go into romraider and disable the code.

A five second google returned this:

open your tune in romraider go to the cel/dtc tables check code P0420 cat efficiency is disabled, shiv misses it occasionally, set it to disabled only if you have catless header on stage2 tune else its telling you you have a leak then save rom and reflash with oft

Was doing some research before buying. I downloaded the pre-made flash files and opened the folder (OFT OTS v1_59\BINs\ZA1J___C ROMS (US 6MT)\Stage 2 UEL) and saw this:

Do each of those files stand for something seperate? Are they to customize the tune further? Because I thought the selection seemed a little sparse and unspecific if it's just 'stage 2 UEL'

Is there a customization for example, for someone who has just a UEL, intake tube and catback? or does it not get that specific?

Thanks for any help!

Questions for the OpenFlash guys (@Shiv@Openflash):

1. I tried a right angle OBD extension cable and the tablet didn't power up at all. Is there a limit to the length of cable used, or can you not use any extension cable at all? I would like to run it to the other side of the dash for logging and also not have the cable pointing down from the port just above my right leg.

2. I have a OBD Bluetooth adapter that I was using with the Torque app. Since installing the OFT, it no longer connects to the ecu. Is that a common issue? Works fine in another FRS, non-OFT.
