I was listening in to the radio cast, they mentioned how a lot of STX cars were up on jack stands and people changing tires n stuff


what was the commotion about, or was it mostly OPR related?

some of it OPR...others were changing tires from Hankook V1 to V2's and viceversa... Heitkotter changed his diff fluid.. as he had loaned the Diff assy to PJ Corrales for his SM Panda 240.. Others were making swaybar changes and dampner changes.. From my intell in the pits.. Wish I was there.. but had a class that has mandatory attendance.. It good to know that at least I might have been in the thick of it..

Ahh yes, loaned his diff out to an SM car...that sounds like a recipe for explosion!...haha.

Actually it is a R200 Diff, Which was stock on that Era Z.. and PJ's R200 blew a pinion shaft..and Bryan loaned him the diff so PJ could compete in the PRO finale' Sat/Sun...

Not quite, I worked in this area, and the kenny cone was by far and away cone 314 from the 'sand castles' slalom. I'm talking 40% of the cars nudged hit or destroyed this cone....in heat 4 anyway.

I sucked royally. Car was f***ing beast though.

East course kicked my ass, I just could not visualize it. West course was crazy fun and my stupid HUGE foot got stuck under the throttle at a REALLY bad point on my best run (would have been a top 15 time for East)

bunch of Ontarian's gonna be making a splash today!


watch for our top cookie, Mike Aversa, in his SM Impreza (GC chassis). He's on 315 hoosiers and the only person I know that sets 1st PAX and FTD while driving with only one hand on the steering wheel.


Mike Wolf and Ryan McDoom, are our co-driver specialists, they hopped into so many cars over the years they should be given a free one by Ford or something. The two of them often match or even beat those who let them co-drive, lets see what happens today.


Valeriano (Val) DiPietro. A really good Miata driver that "upgraded" to a bone stock E36 m3 just to prove that he's not a one trick pony. Currently 4th overall by pax in our regional series and last weekend absolutely murdered everyone by placing 1st in pax in said E36.

However the car is not really nats material, so he's co-driving with Dina, probably our fastest female autocross driver, in her BS S2K.
