What temp are you running at?

(I'm sure this has been a thread before, but I didn't feel like searching to resurrect a dead thread.)

Anyways, was just out to lunch with a co-worker and we hooked his Torque app up in my car. The car ran at a flat 192°F on the drive back to the office. He said his 328i runs anywhere between 193°-230°F. Simply out of curiosity, have any of you been monitoring operating temps and what are your results?

I'm planning on getting the OBDII plug-in for the Torque app soon, so that I can start monitoring data on my car in much greater detail.

My BMW's ECU controls the oil & water temps in the car depending on what mode the car is in.
EcoPRO - 115C oil, 108C coolant
Comfort - 100C oil, 95C coolant
Sport(+) - 90C oil & coolant
Once the oil temps are up there my car holds them there within 2C for road driving. The exception to this is in EcoPRO if you start longer pulls at higher power (e.g. climbing a steep hill) it'll reduce the temps, shows the car has a wealth of cooling capacity to call on. A really annoying thing is BMW saw fit to not include an oil or water temp gauge.

The idea is for sports driving you want the most power from & protection for the engine & this occurs at lower oil & water temps. For EcoPRO driving the temps are optimised for lowest internal friction but this will increase engine wear at higher loads so under constant higher loads drops to the comfort temps.
