Too bad you are on the other side of the state. You could see mine. I did a conservative tune and I am seeing 220 whp up from 148 whp stock. I also had an Invidia Q300 with down pipe installed. Car really runs on 93 octane that we have in Pa. Really clean install.

Extrapolating, that would mean...

148whp / 197 hp ~~ 25% drivetrain loss

220whp with ~25% drivetrain loss ~~293hp at the crank

Hey all,

How much power is left on the table if I go FI but leave my stock overpipe and front pipe?

I'll be going that direction initially, as I would rather spend the $ on an oil cooler. If I get an over/front pipe later (and retune as necessary), am I likely to gain much?

I already have a JDL UEL header (cat less).

Thanks for your advice,

Completely agree oil cooler first!
As for the exhaust, the more power you gain, the louder it gets. Mine have header and cat delete 60whp more at top (also new tune, so...) and +45whp from 4k. I like the sound

Thanks. I decided to throw a combo pipe on during the SC install. :-)

When you say conservative tune, are you reffering to the OTS tune that it comes with or you had it custom tuned? If you say custom tuned, can more power be expected from the OTS tune?

With zero other supporting mods? Maybe 10 hp, with an aggressive tune.

Well just a catback... I thought this kit produced numbers a little higher. These seem pretty close to those of the innovative kit.

Delta is more important than absolute numbers. Absolute high numbers mean nothing if it can't be performed consistently with zero cool down time.

Also if you want dynos that put out high wheel horsepower values, that can be arranged too.

Is this really possible from adding header, fp, exh and new tune?? Have any dynos?

Drift Office got 280 with a full catless system and their tuning (and they're some of the best from what I've read). And CSG got 245 from the OTS CARB tune. Both dynojet. That's +35whp gain.

+65 (or even +45) sounds very high and hard to do. Unless you change the pulley or maybe use E85.

Every dyno is different. The delta on the particular dyno you are using is more important than the numbers off of someone else's dyno.

How does this kit hold up in the cold winter conditions? I live in NJ and we've had some very cold very snowy winters lately (storm sandy). The car is my DD through the winter
