Does the exhaust make it's way into the cabin when running with open windows?

So, question. Assuming you completely remove the black plastic thing so you have more space to play with, and there you've got no exhaust to account for, could you make a more effective diffuser?

Probably. Nice curved surface (higher order conic) starting where the RARB mounts, ie look at an Elise/Exige, or Ferrari diffuser.

You could in theory if you had the cfd or wind tunnel time and a big budget. You still have to account for the proper angle to keep the wind happy on our car, so going bigger diffuser angle doesn't = more downforce.

since you don't have to worry about an exhaust maybe it would be worth while to fit the Lotus rear diffuser on there. saw one person do it here.

The style of diffuser would matter on what style of racing. If it's primarily for drag, you'll want as low of an angle as possible to give max drag reduction and low downforce.

I wish the time/money was available to actually test the lotus diffuser on our cars. It does look damn sexy, it has to work to an extent, just an unmeasured one.
