I just got Vorshlag plates in and i wanna know if i need to take off the coilovers or can i just take off the 3 nuts holding the coil to the shock tower and just slide it on then fasten it down? Thanks

In the end it comes down to personal preference and what balance you're most comfortable with (neutral, oversteer, understeer). Without having a full tire model it would be more of a roll stiffness distribution value, instead of an actual balance value. Also keep in mind that playing with toe and camber can have a HUGE affect on your vehicle balance in corners. Oh so many factors

Slotting the front struts seems like a perfectly viable option. Some cars(used to anyways) come straight off the assembly line with this exact setup. The price is right and I would think this is where you would want the adjustment to be made. Is there an advantage to adjusting at the top of the strut? Loosing a rubber upper strut mount seems like a disadvantage as well. |

Question, I've really tried to wrap my head around spending $3k+ on coilovers but I just can't afford it. I would like to run coilovers for their adjustability, allows for more room when running certain wheels, height adjustment. Most in my price range 1-$1600, are single adjust either rebound or rebound/compression and i opt for swift springs as I understand they're much better than springs that come with coils at this price range. If you had to choose between the fortune autos, feal, BC... What would you recommend. I do mostly steer driving and maybe once a month HPDE. Thanks.

Are they really that much better than FA, real..They're on the top range of my budget and don't even have top hats or adjustability to damping. I don't mind because i could always use the factory and adjust camber with bolts. Camber plates would should the price over the 2k with these.
