Effortless tuning with the OFT

Hello FT86ers,

Sharing a quick review of my experience modding the FRS, based on Vishnu Performance's OFT.

Went full exhaust first, with e85 and this car felt much more lively than stock. She was very eager to rev. Vishnu Performance OFT Stage 2 UEL e85, around 200 whp, according to sources on this forum.

With the Vortech OFT300 Vishnu Performance tune, it's my dream car. Daily drivable, and probably very entertaining on a closed course. It feels sort of like a tamed 1991 300Z tt Stage 2 (which was a 3500 lb car, with 300whp).

Around 240whp, according to sources on this forum.

The brakes are fine, the suspension feels good, the engine still purrs, and the traction control settings are still working.

Thank you Garret, Shiv, and Robert at Vishnu Performance!

Awesome! Love it when people enjoy their car so much they just have to write about it. And we appreciate the kind words as well

I think the 240 needs to be corrected due to being on a mustang dyno. There is a good 35-40 whp difference between shiv's dyno and the customer dyno. Which is more than you can get from full bolt-ons + E85 tune
Also this is on 93, I wonder if shiv has a map for e85 with the oft300?

The oft325??? E85 map doesn't exist yet...discussed the possibility with the Vishnu team a few months back...they were open to creating one...maybe if I get tired of the cost of filling up with $5 94 octane, it can become a reality

You'll also need some bigger injectors, I don't think the stocks will keep up with the Vortech + E85.

I have 385 cc injectors that I picked up on this forum, as well as 270l/hr fuel pump...step by step...
