Good god, that website was painful. Why not powdercoat the stock wheels instead? Shoot, you can pick up a set of stocks WITH tires for less than those wheels. And our stock wheels are track proven already.

On a side note, Enkei wheels used for F1 are the only forged Enkei wheels known on the market. All Enkei wheels offered are all high quality cast wheels. Even Enkei wheels made for OEM application are all cast. |

People might hate me for saying this, but I found more love for my XXR's than I did with my Enkei's.
1. XXR 530's 8.5" have more concave than Enkei Raijin 8.5". I've compared both in person. 2. I was looking for a darker, gloss gunmetal look...and XXR's Chromium Black was my answer. Enkei didn't have the wheel color I was looking for. 3. XXR's will save you a good amount of money, plus they work just fine for DDing. 4. People may tell you this and that about wheel weight, but if your car is just your daily driver and you don't track...then who cares how much they weigh? Unless you're trying to shave a few seconds off of your trip to get groceries. Those are my reasons for going with XXR. If you liked the TSW Nurburgring, then you'll love XXR's 530 design! The TSW Nurburgring's don't have much concave from what I've seen. Just remember, get what YOU want in the end...not what other people want you to get. Do your research, look at a ton of pictures, and don't buy wheels unless you're 110% sure you love them. Good luck! P.S. Check out my build thread if you want to see pics of my old Enkei's installed + my current XXR 530's.

And for sure.. it's gonna be difficult choosing a proper wheel. Probably will go with enkeis or tsw until I get my rocket bunny |

![]() I would like lighter wheels because even if it's my DD, I am gonna auto cross. On top of everything I think it's silly to spend hundreds of dollars on something that if not practical, at least has some kind of performance gain. So I would *like* to stay away from heavier wheels, but chances are I'll be dropping that weight by getting a lighter exhaust anyways! Do you have have a link to your build thread? Super wanna give your wheels a look-see! Thank you for the well-thought response btw! |
