G-Line Wheels?

Has anyone had or heard of these? They're very cheap (~$150 USD a wheel), and look very very nice, but I'm concerned that they are also very cheaply made. Has anyone had some that can tell me what they're like and if they're worth purchasing? I'm looking at the G253 and G817s specifically. Thank you!

On a side note: why is it so difficult to find sites that put weight and alloy composition in the description? It's like pulling teeth to actually know what the fuck it is I'm looking at..

250 bucks could get them powder coated and clear coated to whatever color I want.

I like the structure. Paint be damned. I really wanna know about the quality.

I haven't even googled this company yet to look at their information, but if they're not listing information like that, that should be a red flag. Cheap wheels are just that, they're cheap, cheaply made. I've had plenty of wheels brake or bend on me, none of those situations I ever want to be involved in again, so I purchase better quality wheels to avoid the issues that can happen. Of course everyone has their own budget for parts, but if anything, I would consider saving up for a more reputable brand name so you know what you're really getting into.

That's what I was scared of really.. I'm thinking of just doing something like Enkei... I found some really nice ones for something like 250-300 a wheel which is honestly in my price range, just gotta save for it. They're a very reputable company and I haven't really heard anything bad about em

Enkei is obviously a way more established company. If you make wheels for Formula one cars, you can be pretty sure that they know what they're doing. But I don't know anything about G-line wheels, never heard of them, but I know personally for myself I would lean towards Enkei if that's your secondary option. Sure, more money, but I'd be happier knowing that I wont have to worry about my wheels on a track day for example.

Exactly my thoughts man... do you have a specific model of enkeis you'd lean to by any chance? I wanna go 18x8.5 or 18x9.5 I want it to be lighter than stock wheel too if possible..

I like most of their wheels, but if I were to pick out the most popular optoins, for sure it would be the RPF1, NT03+M and the new RS05RR which is a bit more pricey than the others. Here's some pics:

RPF1:

NT03+M:

RS05RR:

Those are my personal favorites just because they're extremely popular on other forums as well as this one for track wheels. M3's use NT03's and RPF1's all the time, so do Evo's and STi's for track wheels, and a good handful of FRS/BRZ cars as well use these for track fitments as well. Good lightweight wheels for sure.

So $150 each for garbage wheels from a company that lacks complete information and an additional however much to powder coat them in a color that doesn't suck.
i
I'd just spend the few hundred extra and get Enkei's or gram lights.

Here's a way to have a bit of educational fun: After you acquire your new set of wheels, and especially if you've found an advertised weight for them, weigh each on a high-quality scale and see what the variance is. I've seen up to 1/2 pound on well-known, good quality wheels in the 17 pound range.

Hey guys, what's your opinion on RPF1's being used as dailys? I never track my car but I do drive my car like "I stole it" quite a bit now after switching over to e85 haha.

*I'll probably get 17x9 +35 or +38 RPF1's for a daily or a used set of 18x9.5 +38's that are in my price range.
