I've heard of it on other cars, the ABS system is complex and has lot of parts to it that a single point of failure can cause an issue.

This is why it's important to change the brake fluid regularly -- to protect the ABS system.

Hello,

I had this issue roughly last week. My car has about 5000 miles on it. Its currently at the dealership. They replaced my ABS control module and that did not fix the problem. I was at work and my dad (who does not speak english that well) went to the dealer to drop off my car said that they told him my BRZ is one of the extremely few that has this issue. (5 total so far?) they said they are working on replacing something dealing with my hydraulics parts connected to the ABS system. I'll give you an update when my car is back. they wont have it done until thursday of next week since they had to order the part....

What size wheels and tires?

Try going to stock wheel/tire and see what happens?

But if dealer willing to work on it under warranty coverage let them figure it out.

I am running 17x9s. 255/40/17 PSS. We moved the sensors over from the factory tires. No lights here in a couple of months.

Got my car back today it was the ABS actuator and the part needed to fix the car was $4,900.00 + labor. It was covered under warranty but I was told by the service person that if it has anymore issues they are giving me a check for the car. I love my FRS but if it happens to go out again I will be more than happy to take a check. At this point if I had done a tune or turbo they wouldn't have covered it and I would be out 5k not a risk I am going to take and there is not point having a stock FRS in my eyes. Even more so when my DD is a stage 3 GTI with tons of upgrades which makes the FRS a serious downgrade!
