You're right if you're talking about tap water, but you can't find one in Cambodia. A good bottled water runs from 35 cents to a buck.
To anyone going to Cambodia, Don't drink bottled water in the hotel, they charge you 2 bucks for a 35 cents bottled water. LOL

-Get a number, it's pretty cheap there. You only have to pay for prepaid card. ( and maybe 15 bucks for a junk phone if you use locked phone).
-You should get a taxi phone number when you got there. Taxi service is pretty cheap over there. Well, you don't have to if you have relatives over there drive you around.
-Night life is great over there, but you better not "walk" around late night. It starts to get quiet after 1am and it's DANGEROUS. It's always safer to drive.
Lol that sounds good, I'm going to be around with my older brother a lot and we can protect ourselves lol. But yea I'll put that checklist in my phone.

My gf is Khmer and we went two years ago for 2 months with her fam. It's an amazing country.
• The cities are dusty/dirty however, so prepare for that.
• Only drink bottled water.
• Expect to get sick at least once
• Try everything, including bugs. However, fried tarantulas are NOT good. Trust me.
• The markets are awesome.
• Be prepared for beggars always coming up to you.
• Prepare to stick out like a sore thumb, even if you're Khmer
• If you're Khmer, try to act like a local when you go to museums, wats, etc. Khmer people get in for free/cheap whereas Westerners (me) pay at least double to get in.
• The three times I've entered Cambodia I've payed a different price for my visa - prepare for corruption.
• Try to get out to the countryside, it's a lot nicer than the cities in my opinion.

Have fun!

So Jelly! It's cool though cause I'll be going to Japan this summer. YEee!

1.Don't dress like you rich or people might rob you.
2.Don't carry too much coin.
3.Make it look like you can speak the language and try not to look like a foreigner; blend in as much as possible.

In the capital cities, there are many obvious gays, and less than a few dozens of lady boys. He doesn't have to be cautious.

There are bike clubs in my city, they organize riding trip almost every month. That's why I crashed my CBR last year.

@OP: take note what everyone said, you will be fine.
