This is my kind of thread. The usual threads involve supercharge guys getting 29 mixed. These cars guzzle fuel on idle. I live in miami and unless in doing highway get between 16 and 25. Work 8-5 so hit all the traffics.

I live in Hollywood & Lancaster, and I commute M-f 8-5 to Van Nuys. I average 27mpg on a tank. I'd wager that you have a heavy foot. I have gone through a tank and averaged 21 MPG, but that was taking Bouquet Canyon to and from work every day that week.

Yea low mpg is just going to have to be accepted in LA. Especially if you go down the 5 freeway, or really any. There's a lot of slamming on the brakes that goes on, and then you go and then you have to slow down again.

Fuelly is showing 28.7 MPG. Most of my mileage is from freeway driving during non-rush hours with the occasional 405 traffic, so based on what other people have been seeing overall on Fuelly I thought I'd have slightly better mileage. Seeing your guys' actual LA mileage on here though makes me feel a lot better. I'm guessing our 91 octane gas lowers the overall MPG a bit?
