We had a one year old daughter at the time, and I have had custody of her ever since (17 years), but my ex has made my daughter's life hell while I try to be 'the good guy' - let alone the shit she's done to my life.


So yeah, @ftc~brz, I feel ya, and @Hanakuso, I hope you never have to find out how you'd really feel about that situation.


For my two daughters and my current wife's sake, this guy can take whatever beating he gets, then die, then burn in hell. My wife works in mental health care, so I get that people need treatment for mental instability or whatever, but this is too far. Fuck him.

@kavanagh. Thanks for sharing that. Yes women can be the abuser too. It's more rare that men speak up about it though. Crazy is just plain crazy. And no normal person should have to deal with that. Sorry for your 1st born too. That's just not fair.
I tried to warn the next girl my ex dated. (The one that brought him to court for violating my restraining order multiple times). I hope he never did to her what he did to me but then you can't fix stupid either.

(For the record not my ex-husband) he wasn't abusive.

Assault convictions Koppenhaver has been arrested and convicted numerous times for violent offences. On September 2, 2007, he was found guilty of striking a Las Vegas man in the face and choking him unconscious during a parking lot scuffle.[34]

In February, 2008, he was sentenced to three years of probation and 30 days of community service, avoiding the possible felony charge and accompanying prison time.[34]

On February 22, 2008, Koppenhaver plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge of assualt and battery, and was fine and sentenced to probation.[35]

In August, 2010, Koppenhaver was sentenced to one year in the county jail for a felony assault conviction stemming from a fight at a Point Loma bar earlier in the year, as well as an additional fight at a Pacific Beach bar.[36][37] He was imprisoned in the San Diego's George Bailey Detention Facility and served time in administrative segregation.[38] After going to jail, Koppenhaver maintained his Twitter account as well as a blog documenting his time in jail. In this blog, he stated that he believes "The oppression of MEN is worse than oppression of Jews in Nazi germany, worse than the slavery of Blacks in early America... I'm not exaggerating either."[39] Koppenhaver also described how he was sent into administrative segregation due to jail policy violations but decided to voluntarily remain there until the end of his sentence.[40] Koppenhaver was released from incarceration on July 15, 2011.[41]

On February 1, 2012, it was announced via Koppenhaver's Twitter that he will be serving another year of jail time, due to preceding events. He was released on October 29, 2012.[42]

On August 8, 2014, it was reported that Mack and her friend were assaulted in her Las Vegas home, allegedly by War Machine, and taken to the hospital where it was found that Mack suffered from 18 broken bones, a broken nose, missing teeth, a fractured rib and a ruptured liver.[43] The Las Vegas Police have named Koppenhaver as the "prime suspect" for the alleged assault.[44]
