I could buy a new Seat Leon Cupra for about the same as my BRZ (which I hope will arrive next month). That thing clocked a 7 min. 58 sec. lap in Nürburgring just a few months ago. Impressive that current FWD family cars can beat 10 year old Porsches.

So tires can make a HUGE difference.

914 = 120hp/2200 lbs = .055 hp/lb (mid engine w/ racing tires)
FRS = 176 hp/2800 lbs = .062 hp/lb
Where did 176 come from? Dyno #?

Comparisons aside, that was a fun watch. Didn't read the description before watching, but it's pretty obvious the guy knows the ring like the back of his hand.
