Hey... It's better to run 1000cc injectors at 28% than 400cc injectors at 88%....

Been awhile, but the car is done. It's currently on the dyno today. I'll try to follow up with a review once I get to drive.

can you shift the torque with boost controller to mid (2500rpm to 5500rpm)?
check BMW N20B20 (2014 328i Engine) and Subaru wrx sti torque curve on dyno.

these torque curves form BMW 2.0L engine and subaru 2.0L engine shows they make different torque curve from turbocharged brz by after market.
I guess subaru and bmw work on boost control for this curves as you see their torque is more flat and more wide band than after market turbocharged brz.
subaru torque start at 3k and bmw start at 2k , very interesting . after marker torque start at 4.5k rpm.

between aftermarket turbocharged just crawford performance torque seems differ from other and it's peak torque is near 4k rpm.
other as i know did not changed stock brz curve and just shifted up the curve.

i think this subject could be interesting for study that what a tuner should do for increasing flatness of torque curve (smooth function for linear power) and increasing widths of band.

From the looks of it those dynos are of stock turbos. Those boost/power goals can be achieved with smaller turbos. Faster response and low end will end up falling off on the top end of the power band. Our goal with this is to make boost fairly quick on a 500hp capable turbo and not fall off up top. With this configuration its achievable. We have done it on other platforms before

Our prototype kit dyno is less than complete. At the time we were on 1 of 2 AEM Series 2 prototype stand alone units and did not have control of the cams/VVT so spool is not where it should be. We have 4 other kits out to customers but none showing results yet. If we still dont have results when the new engine goes back into the shop car that will be the kit we will run.

Here is an example on another platform utilizing a similar setup. 1.8L VW only port injection with a GT3076R (non billet wheel) T3 divided with various boost levels from 22-30psi. Full boost was achieved at 3800 with lots of power band.

Same car same turbo T3 open vs T3 divided

with smaller and faster twin scroll plus boost control we could shift TQ to lower rpm but we loose topend and i think the art of tuner is to make more power band with good starting at low rpm.

BMW power band is near 4k and and subaru power band is near 3k.

dynosty used Haltech beside ecutek for tune . it seems ecutek have some limits for tuning DI.
http://www.dynosty.com/2012/08/scion...set-at-324whp/

I think tuners should give us flatter and wider powerband with good low end power like BMW 328i N20B20 Engine.

another thing that make sense about tuners that they discuss on other limitation of brz when power increase.

very interesting to me this tuning:
twin-scroll GTX3076R around 9psi on stock FA20 and a boost controller

Much like Kuri I've been interested in this kit for a while but there doesn't seem to be much information out there. I would like to see some customer results/dyno sheets/videos. Any specific reason most seem to go with the single scroll?
