Need some help, or ideas on lowering with spacers

I have a Series.Blue and love the rims, but would like for a more flush look. I was thinking a 1 inch drop, and 20mm spacers on front and 25mm on rear. Any recommendations for products or advice before I do anything regrettable?

No drop for me but this is how she looks with 20/25 spacers.
Very happy with the wider stance.

I have one inch drop or slightly more and 25mm spacers all around.

I have 18x7.5" +46 TRD wheels all around and the spacers I reckon are the best bang for buck mod you can do. Hardly any cost and car looks so much hotter (and that's according to my wife). Makes my wheels effectively 18x7.5 +21 so you can compare here. My flush fit is pre-populated as the existing so you can enter what your setup will be and check poke. Rear is perfect for me but I reckon front could do with 5mm less poke.

I would like 20mm on front as I think 25mm has about 5mm too much poke (but 25mm is great anyway) but am using the spacers that have new stud bolts and the 20mm spacers mean the existing studs extend a little too much for wheel to sit flush against the spacers so be careful. Depends on your wheels if the 20mm spacers with new studs will work for you. Your wheels will need indents between the existing stud holes.

I was looking at the Eibach pro spacers, im new to all this so would the Eibachs work since they come with extended lugs? Thank you for all the advice so far.

Yep, they look good. If going 20mm or25mm get the extended stud ones. Just make sure you get hub centric that are correct for the FR-S/BRZ hub

Thanks for the help! I'm gonna use the springs as a start and feel out if I like the drop, then get full coilovers. I want the spacers cause I want her to look beefy but keep the stock Series.Blue rims. I can feel the hole being burned in my wallet already.

I'm asking the same question... I got 2015 Series.Blue as well and would like to keep these wheels on.

Looking to get the Eibach Pro-Kit springs and some spacers to drop it and make it flush. Are 20mm front, 25mm rear the perfect fit?

20/25 is a pretty popular option. A number of vendors on here sell them as a set. I have them on my car (not a Blue) and I really like how they make the car look. Mine have the additional studs built into the spacer, not longer studs to replace the OEM ones. They work just fine.

Hmm I'm thinking about it... Springs, spacers, alignment and install is going to cost me near $1000...

Is it really worth it just for the looks?

IMHO, yes.

Heaps cheaper than coil overs. Lower springs (say 1 inch) and spacers will make your car look hot!

But, you could try just the spacers first without lowering or alignment. Quite cheap then and you may like it without lowering.

I have 18x7.5 +46 wheels. What do you have? Do you have the stock 17x7 +48?

I've got the stock wheels on the 2015 Series.Blue (STi branded ones). I'm not sure if they have the same specs as the stock ones from other trims. I'm assuming they are?

Installing spacers won't require alignment? And I'm also worried about vibration, or whatever other bad things that come with having spacers on.

BTW I'm from Canada, so another reason why I'm hesitant. Not the best roads plus winter.

Assuming you have the 17x7 +48 stock wheels the you will have 8mm less poke than my 18x7.5 +21 setup with my 25mm spacers.

The 20/25 combo spacers won't be perfectly flush but the few milimeters less than flush will mean less crap sprayed up by the front wheels in the wet.

Vibration with quality spacers is rare.

I didn't have an alignment done until I lowered. Not sure if correct but as the spacers are even on the hub I assumed alignment stayed the same just the wheel track is a bit wider.

Do it man, you won't regret it? Have a look at my build thread and see what I've doesn't and this is my cheapest mod but my favourite mod!

And, we have crap roads here in NZ too. Lots of them are stone chip on top of tar seal. Our highways are asphalt but we font have the smooth concrete roads of many countries. Our winters are very mild though compared to yours!

You think the 1-inch drop from the Eibach Pro-Kits and 20/25mm spacers for front/rear will not cause rubbing? Don't want to have to deal with that and also I hope still high enough to prevent scraping...

You should get no rubbing at all with that setup.

And, you won't be low enough to worry about having to drive like an idiot to get in and out of driveways etc. you won't be that low!

Some of our specs have 7.5" wheels but they are ok with the spacers as well. Just sit with a little more poke.
