Another thing I want to add to my last post about wanting to trade the FR-S for something turbo. The other thing I worry about is having to buy new tires, rims, brakes, just to be able to build up to the turbo, thats like 10grand after install on everything.

Gen Coupe 2.0t is ready to rock out of the package, I don't do the whole tracking thing, I do randomly whip the frs around a corner and drift it, but that's it. I love straight line racing and it's what I have always enjoyed with my previous cars. The FR-S is a great car and handles amazing but I think its just gonna cost me to much to get it to the power of a Gen Coupe for cheaper.

Thoughts?

@Marchy Never really been into mazda cars, rx7 is legit but not something I go crazy for. If I was to trade my fr-s for something different I would probably have to go with the turbo model of whatever. I would love to turbo the fr-s but it just seems really outrageous to even get to the point to be able to turbo it.

You could turbo or even supercharge the car and the only thing you would really need to upgrade is the tires. The stock brakes on this car are more then enough, them may seem like they suck but its really just the tires not letting the brakes stop to their full potential.

I myself love turbos and also own another 400whp turbocharged car, but if I were to boost my FRS I would probably go the supercharger route to keep the nice smooth power curve. Just seems like it would suit this car better.

Yea turboing probably would take away from the great handling we get outta these cars, but man would it be a blast to drive a turbo charges 2800lb car!

If you want to spend alot less and get a shit ton of power..

Stang Foxbody, cheap power and shit tons of it.

My little nephew (17) built a drift fox with an independent rear suspension and a decent amount of power mods for cheap

Since you already have an FRS, which is relatively unfit for passenger and luggage hauling, why not a WRX? The new WRX has a much better motor than the old one, and because it's a factory turbo car, a retune works wonders, and with just a turbine housing swap you could probably have a seriously fast monster.

A Mustang would be a little redundant IMO.

Help me decide on another car.

After watching a video posted on here I'm strongly leaning in the Innovate Supercharger direction eventually. The added power and whine from the supercharger seemed like a lot of fun. The car is a keeper. Just add some power to the OP.

Seriously, ask yourself this. What type of person are you, and what type of vehicle you want, driver car ? muscle ? classic ?

Myself, I prefer a driver car, and practicality together. My money is on WRX and or STI. But Subaru is not that reliable =/ There are a few WRX and STI kicking the rod right now
