Having a baffled oil pan and a better oil pump to keep pressures up can help combat this. Unfortunately there isn't much of an option for us on the oil pump effort. As for oil running to heads, EJ motors are designed to oil the heads first, THEN the mains. On the FA20, oil hits heads and mains simultaneously. Our pump is is just not designed for FI in mind.

As for the primaries, I'm assuming you're talking about the manifold? And if that's the case, how is it that one could still manage to fit, lets say, the HKS EL manifold in factory location, and still fit with all undertrays with no clearance issues? It is essentially a OEM copy with proper EL design. OEM's very rarely design manifolds that are "tuned". They, afterall, are a profit generating company and its cost analysis will ultimately kill most of the features that we would all like to see in a car.

Manifolds

Both intake and exhaust are a compromise design..

Sooner or later someone lik FBM will make a better design.
My guess is at some point we'll see twin plenum, twin tb designs.

Im not talking about oil starvation.

On inline engines you dont have the issue of the oil running to the heads, do you?

I forgot to mention what happen when you have to deck the block.....

With avcs its not so bad, but before you advance one side and retard the other.

Not exactly ideal, is it?

There are plenty of cons on a boxer engine, luckily, there are just enough to keep it a viable solution.

Fa20 will NEVER be a K20 though.

Hopefully it will be close though.

Proof tends to be pretty easy. IE if he scammed user X who has proof that he paid for something and the other party has zero proof that they sent the item, or are still selling the item, etc.. that's enough proof.

He has been recommending fa20club to people on youtube, facebook, and here in e change for free parts and labor from fa20club.

Also what offense did he commit to get a temporary ban?!? If "spamming" is permaban territory whats "limited ban"

Suggesting a shitty shop isn't scamming.

He was offering to sell people some parts as a company (ie not used parts he had). Most people who do that get a temp ban first. Some get warned in PM and then perm banned if they continue.

I miss Jamesm.
Someone tell me what happened.
Is it really a permaband?

Someone/Anyone PM me the details.
Thanks.

Sorry for having a life outside the forum and missing some of these things. I banned lexus, I can't take credit for anything else. I wasn't aware that James (who I like) was gone again. I have a job that requires my focus most of the time. Being a mod here doesn't pay anything, so my job will ALWAYS be more important than keeping up with who is getting banned and why.

We enforce the rules of the site. James broke (and KNEW he was doing so) the rules way back when. I don't know what happened this time. I try to avoid perm bans for members who mess up and only use them for repeat offenders and for obvious spam bots and similar. Other mods/admins may do so differently.

If I were really a ban happy mod this conversation would have already ended with a locked thread and a ban. There is no free speech here (sorry, but it's true). I've been banned from forums for the same reasons people get banned here so I really don't see how this place is any different than anywhere else.

Just read Jamesm's ban reason. His sponsorship expired and then, after being banned prior for violating this same rule, continued to advertise his services in PM and maybe elsewhere (didn't see it). So he clearly knew, and disregarded, the rules.

I like and respect James, but too bad on that one.
