The three transmissions are not the same. Infact, there are many cars that used the Aisin AZ6 model. S2000, all 6 speed miatas, RX8, altezza, IS200. They are all different variants of the same model. It all depends on the internal options Toyota picked for this one. The issues will all be related to the options they chose.

It's the AY6 not the AZ6, and it's usually rated for 345 ft*lbs (which is not the maximum possible torque before breaking, but the maximum recommended torque if you want it to outlast the car).

Specification
Transmission Type A960E 1st 3.538 2nd 2.060 3rd 1.404 4th 1.000 5th 0.713 6th 0.582 Reverse 3.168 Fluid Capacity Liters (US qts, Imp. qts) 7.2 (7.6, 6.3) Fluid Type TOYOTA Genuine ATF WS Weight (Reference)* kg (lb) 74.7 (164.7) im guessing it uses the same gear ratios, as far as we know the brz/86 has a 1:1 ratio in 4th gear as does the is250, my belief is that it will be a very similar transmission but uses different solenoids and shift patterns

^This may be MY final deciding factor to keep the engine NA. Excited to see what Crower comes up with in terms of valvetrain! I loved their Honda stuff...
