I got mine to flash using the previous version, going to data log for my tuner once the 5 min recalibration idle time is up.woo hoo! Glad ECUtek is on top of this and putting out an update soon too.

5 mins is too long, it's just a waste of fuel.

If you're doing it on a cold engine:
Flash & Reset
Pedal Push
Start Car & Idle for 1 minute
Exhaust cams don't come active until oil is over 30C + some other conditions met so drive down the road for 1-2 mins and then stop the car. Wait until you see movement on the VVT Exhaust Angle. Drive and log.

If you're doing it on a warm engine:
Flash & Reset
Pedal Push
Start Car & Idle for 30 secs. You should see movement on the VVT Exhaust Angle after about 10-15 seconds.
As soon as the exhaust cam is active, you're ready to go.

I would just make sure you start logs when oil and water is up to temperature. For me, that's over 50-60C for both. The above is also why it's easier to flash if you've already warmed up the car.

Thanks for the info... good to know. I was just going off of my u tuner's recommendation. I hadn't heard of the pedal push, but I'll have to try it. Makes sense and I've had to do similar things on other vehicles.

Sorry mine had to be left for 5 min. The racerom features didn't work when I did otherwise.

Ugh, worst luck ever, I just wrote this super long post and was about to post when I decided to copy it so I could paste it just in case it didn't post for some reason. When I hit select all text, it crashed firefox on my phone and i lost it all

Anyway, lesson learned is to make it shorter.

I am doing an HID/angel eye install and like a dumbass listened to a post to tap into a wire in the bundle of wires coming out of the engine bay fuse box.

After also disconnecting the battery I remembered that I might have to reflash.

I got this problem and also my dash/and hid system now flickers after trying to flash several times.

I'm not sure if this is a coincidence because you guys got a similar problem recently or if I might have pulled a random wire when tapping.

Unfortunately I tried the latest software update today and it didn't work.

Still want to try locking the car and coming back after 5min of it off, but I'm practically crying on the inside that I may have royally screwed myself

Any thoughts, suggestions?

If anyone knows of a shop or an individual near LA that could help I'm all ears.

Pray for me that this is a quick fix.
