The enzo also came out 12 years ago, not a couple years ago and they were much harder to get. Ferrari wouldn't sell them to just anyone with the money, you had to be chosen as worthy by the company. Porsche is selling 918's to anyone with the cash.

The porsche is also faster so it's a better performer.
Again, it's also 12 years newer so I should hope it's faster.

Cars are never a solid investment ... For someone with old money you show signs of new money syndrome ... You'd be better off buying real estate but if you wanna pay $845,000 plus TTL then go on right ahead...

The Carerra GT hasn't held its value very well, I don't see why the 918 would do any better. Batteries are a big ticket and don't last decades with full performance.

Buy vintage cars as an investment, if any, if you know what you're doing.

A) not getting any inheritance until he learns the value of a dollar

B) lying so hard its starting to become hilarious.

C) both

....yeah C it is.

CJ, if you want a great place to spend your money...get a mail order bride from Thailand who is 13

Seriously dude...just find another forum to be pretentious on. May I suggest the Ferrari forums?

Be sure to upload lots of pics of your Monte Carlo...after they kick you off the site...then upload pics of your mom so they let you return. I mean that strategy worked here.

You get one serious answer from me because I'm nice like that.

Like others have said, those batteries and electric motors won't last very long just sitting there doing nothing. The only way I can see this working is if you remove all the batteries and find a way to store them so they don't go bad or become useless. This is on top of draining all the fluids and making sure it's stored properly, and for a car like this it has to be done perfectly. You'll pay a fortune just to prep and store it properly.

And even if you manage all of that, you won't see a return in 5 years. Wait 30 or 50 years, and then maybe, if everything was stored properly and it can be put back together and still works perfectly, maybe you will be able to sell it for a profit.

Then again, that far into the future who knows what people will be driving. You might end up with the only pristine 918 in existence in the future and it will be worthless because technology advancement will have turned it into a novelty item. Who wants a car on wheels that takes gas and has to be driven when roads no longer exist because cars now fly, are fully electric, and drive themselves?

I think there's another syndrome going on here and it's anything but big.

I'm gonna go with D.

D) CJ is this way because of his parents. They are just as dumb as he is and they just keep throwing money his way, making him a pretentious idiot.
