porsche 918 spyder investment?

I was wondering if one were to purchase a 918 spyder and store it away without ever driving it. Would you make any return if you were to sell it in say 5 years?

It was a serious question.

If it still ran in 5 years without being driven?.... probably not.

5 years? No.

30 years? Probably yes

I was researching and found how the Ferrari Enzo was about 643,000 when it was new. Now it's worth almost 2 million. I would figure the porsche 918 would share similar chararistics in terms of investing.

Yup. That just happened.

Not even close to the same price or performance bracket. Apples and mustard.

The Enzo at msrp with inflation would be $832,905.16

The 918 is 845,000 in its base trim

The porsche is also faster so it's a better performer.
