It just doesn't seem that June 1st would be the actual general release date. Until I see the date on there website, it guessing just like the price before it was release.
Check the front page of the site. Cars are arriving. June 1st will happen. Cool yer jets.

I have a $1k deposit down at my dealership in San Jose. I'm 3rd in line. When they get cars in he's gonna call the people on the list. I know one of the first two wants hot lava, and I'm looking at white. So it's just a matter of actually getting the color I want in their first shipment. He said they'll be getting plenty of cars on their first shipment as well. So we'll see how it all pans out.

He said the price will exactly 24,930 no other fees or dealer mark up. He said only thing that will cost more is any dealer extras that I choose, like spoiler or extra warranties. nothing will be added once they get it.
Good for you!

So I guess they do the pure pricing like it says on scion site.
No mark ups. I like that.
so I assume you getting the red one nice choice, that's what I like to have too

Btw... I talked to the Scion area rep for Pacific Northwest today. He said that the options will be very limited at first. Basically just ash tray, rear bumper applique, upgraded radio, splash guards, and trunk liner. The only spoiler available will be the one from the 5 Axis body kit.

The first week of March I put $500 on the first silver, white, or grey manual car to arrive at my local dealership. They claim to have no idea when or how many cars they're getting. There is likely less demand here in the mid west, and I get the impression that I am significantly more excited about the FR-S than they are.

I hope the dealer doesn't say turn around and bent over.

Just got an e-mail from the local Toyota/Scion dealership. FR-S's (mine, in particular) will arrive in late May, early June. Exciting. I was afraid of a west coast roll out like the IQ.
