For someone of us who bought a 2013 Scion FRS and BRZ premium we did not have the option of dual zone HVAC. This is the perfect solution for those who do not want to trade their car in. The install was a bit of work and after hours of fumbling with panels removal and broken clock springs I opted to have accelerated do the install as he was local and also made the harness kit to be plug and play. The install itself might be a challenge for those with limited tech skills or are uncomfortable with doing the work themselves as it requires a full disassembly of the dash and center consoles. But to finally get rid of the disgusting knobs and control panel really made my car come alive ascetically and added new dual zone function. This mod does cost a pretty penny unless you are able to source parts from a yard. I have to give credit to accelerated who really did a phenomenal job and went above and beyond to tidy up the loose wiring electronics accessories and also solder every connection before returning me the vehicle. Overall I am very satisfied with my install and would highly recommend the kit and the installation if you are local. |
