Looking at the below video and forum looks like that part can be an issue for many.

There may be air getting sucked up instead of fuel, because the o-rings aren't sitting right, which would make sense if your pump isn't full submerged in gas while on a hill. Hope this helps.

See, I saw this post first, so I thought that using 3 would be correct, and the white spacer didn't really want to go on.

And why wouldn't I have fuel issues when I'm already going up the hill if the pump wasn't being submerged completely in the gas tank? Aargh. So confused. Thanks for the help; I'm just trying to figure out what exactly I'm doing before I take it apart again, rather than keep going through a cycle of troubleshooting.

Generally the O rings only fix issues when you lose fuel pressure and lean out at WOT. If you take it apart again, make sure you take pictures of it before it so we can try and pinpoint what is wrong. Does this happen even with a full tank? The only thing that makes sense if it only occurs when on a hill is the fuel pump install itself.

So there's no way it's a tune issue? The car bucks both on hills and on flat ground... I supposee slightly more often on hills...
Yes I just filled up the tank and the random bucking and afr jumps are still happening, but I haven't tried starting up from a steep hill from a stop yet.

It can always be the tune, but not when the only variable is being on a hill or not. LJ supplies a basemap not an off the shelf tune. It is designed to get the car to the tuner of your choice to tune your setup.

Sounds like me. Turned out to be a squished regulator line. Caused issues when the voltage to the pump fluctuated(this is a voltage controlled pump) and the reg couldn't adjust. Also caused issues with the oem venturi.

Just to add to the list of issues..
When I'm driving and coming to a stop or slowing down for any reason and I downshift to a lower gear and go into neutral , the car shuts off .. Still rolling .. Completely dies, the fuel cuts off , doesn't matter clutch in or out, the only way I have been able to stop it from stalling is to blip it and prevent it from going under 1000rpm until I come to the stop.. going for a retune in a week .. Any thoughts?

Sounds like fuel pressure problems. See my above post. Kinked regulator line inside the pump housing.

Dropped it off at evasive motorsports today and told them about it, I'll let everyone know what it was after I pick it up at the end of the week

My guess would be the BOV opening up or a poor tune. Lightweight flywheel?

Need a better tune. Fuel trims must be crazy on that low MAF range, close to idle and thus it dies on you.
