Oh agree w ya. I prefer on the side, but they have awesome engine. Used ER33 engine from SVX and bore it to 3.5L. When they had 3.3L it was pressing 320whp w 280wtq @ 8,200rpm (not 6,500rpm like STI) NA! Now, that's a tons more power than STI. Now think bout having small turbo to help lil bit (maybe around 6~8psi) and how much power you can get out of it... just thinking bout it makes me drool. lol

I agree except for the turbo part, if your gonna only run 6-8 psi why not get a supercharger, then you got power in the low RPM's to

Google search DIY for the win... haha jk I've done a lot to my car on my own and saved tons of money but I wouldnt even know where to begin on an engine swap/upgrade to forced induction plus I dont have the tools/area to take an engine out of a car (or the know how but we'll keep that on the DL )

Yeah, I'm DIY person... but only thing stopping me from doing this the swap is wiring. I hate... again, I HATE wires. I was reading that ER33 or EZ30D swap is pretty much same concept as WRX/STI swap. Only different thing is you gotta make custom exhaust system.

It's not to hard, I was like you and had no clue about it but once I started the process of talking to people and looking up parts I learned a lot

Yeah, electrical stuff is my weakness. Those thing always make me confuse spin my head like crazy. Post the project on off-topic area. It might be good learning stuff for me to read (if you have time & chance to post it).

Sure, my next off day isn't till next Sunday, and I wanna post pics along with it so I'll do it then

But wiring up lights and stuff won't really help you with wiring up an ECU or piggy back system
