Spins freely as far as I'm aware. You'll feel a little less power all around as it is still a restriction past the airbox, but since it spins it isn't terrible.

Does anybody know if the compressor motor is locked without power or does it spin freely? The reason I ask is because even without the ESC the car runs great. It's just that full throttle is the same as half throttle.

Melted wire sounds like the culprit.

Agree with @Sojhinn , it's the melted wires. I pulled the same move on my install and had to fix it.

You should probably take the compressor off until you can get a replacement set of wires from Rob. Change the tune to a non-ESC version for now as well.

It spins free as mentioned and if tge coating on the wires is all that's causing the issue it might be easier to fix it yourself. Good luck bud and as others have mentioned make sure all your connections are tight.

Mine holds steady at 28.4 after a battery replacement and aux charger upgrade.

I play all genres but I've been playing the destiny beta on my xb1. Looking forward to using a keyboard and mouse again when the xim (keyboard and mouse device for the Xbox and ps4) comes out.

I'm on Destiny beta XB1 this afternoon too. Just finished up another round of strike mission and the roam missions. I'm learning that I suck at PvP though...
