Finally got my CUSCO intake tube & cosworth drop-in filter installed. The difference is definitely noticeable in the peppiness of the car.
Also those ugly ass yellow caps in the engine bay had to go, so i grabbed some blue engine bay enamel and went to work on them. ![]() As for an update on how my experience with learning stick shift is coming along, I am no longer afraid of being stopped on hills haha. Starts are still a little harder to be quick and smooth, but nonetheless better than the first month LOL. 2nd gear shifts are getting smoother as well. I got rev matching learned pretty well into every gear except 2nd haha so difficult for me to get that one well, also ive started dabbling into a little heel & toe and it definitely takes a little getting used to but apart from all that im pretty happy with my progress and i hope i continue to get better. |

Installed the catless frontpipe
[ame]http://youtu.be/eEZmjG5t5L8[/ame] [ame]http://youtu.be/trwUj8ikKew[/ame] I also installed the whiteline shifter bushings as well as the energy suspension rear shifter bushings. This along with a trans and diff fluid swap with motul gear 300 has made the shifting almost silky smooth. I highly reccomend the above mods, all of them can be done for under 100 bucks and will totally change how the shifting feels. I'm ecstatic about it! |
