Logical's Whiteout FR-S Build

I went out and traded my tC in for a FR-S. Best decision in my life. The tC only had 65K miles, and was in perfect condition. No scratches, dents, dings at all in the paint. I kept that car mint. It was probably one of my favorite cars to date, until I got the FR-S.

Gone, but not forgotten.

However, ever since the FR-S came out I wanted it. I went and test drove one and instantly fell in love. A couple months afterwards I was heading home and passed the Toyota/Scion dealership of my area. I stopped by and they had one Raven FR-S. It was beautiful. A month or two afterwards I had in my mind that the FR-S was the car I needed. I went with the mind set of picking up a Raven FR-S. When I got to the dealership they had a Whiteout one on the showroom floor. Needless to say she caught my attention, and I drove her home.

Fast forward to now.

I have a lot of plans for this car, as soon as some extra money flows through. I made this thread as something for me to look back on in the next upcoming months/years.

My first upgrade, Borla Exhaust.

The next thing I had to do was get wheels for it. I found a set of wheels I really wanted, BLQ Rotiforms. I contacted Rotiform and they informed me it would take around 3-4 months until they can complete my order. I hate waiting, but I put in my order for them. In the meantime I wanted something different.

*Update on the Rotiforms: I canceled my order on them because of money issues right now. Between insurance, car payment, and other seemingly endless bills I had to take that money and put it in a savings account for backup. Maybe in a few months I'll look at them again, but other wheels have caught my attention too. Plus, I'm content with the wheels I have now.

Picked up this set of wheels, lightweight ICW Racing wheels. The specs are 18x8.5 squared. My tires are staggered, running a 225x40 in the front and a 245x35 in the rear.

I just dropped the car not too long ago, I bought Eibach Sportline springs. I'll get some photos of how it looks now when the weather allows me to.

I thought he blq rotiforms were a different bolt pattern and didn't fit our cars. Are you doing the conversion or are they making you a special order for our bolt pattern?

5x100 | 5x112 | 5x114.3

These are the sizes they offer for their BLQ's.

The mono cast's are all special ordered however, so I think whatever you ask for they will make it? Don't quote me on it though.

It's been a while since I've done any updates on my thread here. As a lot of you guys know already I was in a wreck a couple months ago. Long story short, standing water and lightweight cars don't go hand in hand.

This was one of the worst days I have ever had, very heartbreaking.

Now a couple of months later she is back, and actually drives better than before my wreck. The shop I took it to did a fantastic job and I highly recommend them to anyone in the Charlotte/Gastonia area.

These photos were taken last night 8/18/13 on top of the brand new UNCC parking deck.

I'm really into photography, and besides my car it's a huge hobby of mine.

Glad to see that you got fixed up without sacrificing the handling of the car. Looks like the shop did a great job!

Thanks guys. I'm really happy to be driving this car again.

Here's a little photo edit from the same photo shoot.
