ill have to look at the settings again but i thought i had flkc selected. what does it actually say on the tablet just so i know i have the right one selected. the road i did it on wasnt the smoothest and i started to climb at the end. that may be where the knock came from. also i started logging when i wasnt on the throttle so that also may explaing the high ltft in the beggining. ill try and get another log done sometime this week. thanks

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...5&postcount=12 on 91 maybe a bit less gain , but if you were on 91 from the start you would already be down a few HP stock. |

I'm sure it's in here somewhere. Can someone point me to how to enable "soft" rev limiting? Another owner I know explained that while the factory rev limit is "hard" as in you get fuel cut and fall on your face, there is a "soft" limit that sounds like it takes over the throttle and holds you right at the limit until you shift or let up on the gas.
Anyone know how to enable that?

I just got back from a two week out of town business trip and hopped in my BRZ at the airport... Fired right up and drove home super smoothly. I love the powerband now, and the little bit of extra growl is great too. I forgot how much better the tune is. Also, my throttle tip-in deadspace is noticeably better than I remember. I was really tired last time I drove it and didn't even notice that it had gotten better. Nailing heel-toe downshifts without trying after driving a slushbox around for two weeks feels great

The stock tune has a rev-limit at 7450 RPMs and cuts fuel until the RPMs drop to 7100. That 350 RPM delta feels like an eternity and definitely sucks. The OFT tunes have a rev-limit at 7600 RPMs and the fuel cut only lasts until 7550 RPMs, so your car will maintain it's speed and not die for 350 RPMs like the stock tune does. Would you say the OFT stage 1 tune is maintaining a constant speed between 7550 and 7600 RPMs or are you still experiencing the 350 RPM fuel cut that the stock tune has? |
