If you got your car new in Calgary, I believe the car is supposed to come with a block heater installed (by law). They're generally installed at port, but if yours didn't come with one, it's possible the car originated from a province outside of AB/SK/MB.

^ right? thats what i was wondering..
i originally ordered a black one but no more '14 left other than a demo..
and they got me the red one but still had to wait a while.
im guessing they had to get it down to calgary from some other province..
i guess i will stop by on my first oil change, see if it was installed and may be they did a heck of a job tucking away the plug
