I agree the top end drops off, but it looks worse then it is, due to the increased redline.

Yeah, it's holding torque up to the same RPM as stock, I was expecting the top end to be extended a few hundred rpm maybe.

HKS shows on their website a Catted version, but they don't have O2 bung holes for pre and post CAT O2 sensors. I found that odd.

Where I am I can probably get one cheaper than a JDL. I'm hesitating only because there doesn't seem to be a coated option, and I don't like thermal bandages.

It appears to be coated but getting an official answer form HKS isn't the easiest thing in the world.
HI,

Could you confirm that both HKS EL header catted and catless which you
sell on your website with coated or not?
Thanks.

I have HKS Catted and no it wasn't coated.
This instructions were in jpn. multiple versions it looked like. Instead of running the 2nd O2 off the engine side of the Front-Pipe we put a bung in the open area on the over-pipe

The high-flow cat does seem to have different metrics enough to confuse the ECU and trigger a P0420 after a short while.

Could you give some review for the HKS catted header (ex. performance,
sound..etc)?
Thanks a lot.

I don't know from others, but all in all I am pleased with the HSK header, Bob of Drift-Office also likes them per his words. My final tune HP is 184.76 I think it was.

I am going to get this header soon. Couple of questions though:
1. Would I be able to use the stock aluminum cover to protect them?
2. I am going to get the catted version. My front pipe is uncatted. Even if I place the second o2 sensor in the front pipe, am I still going to get a cel/fault code?

They completely changed their catted header. It's pretty lame now. We got a full review of it coming later this week.

When you say they have changed the header now, what do you mean? What's changed? I want the 4-2-1 set up and I hope I will get that from them! Has the performance been affected?
