I think they're $200 for the set new. I got them used for $80, so check the classifieds often

Good idea. I don't have a torque wrench, but I can only hope I didn't overtorque! I usually torque a tad less than dealers and wheel shops though, so probably safe.

Here is a close up, for his first time doing this the lines are very good.

If anyone out there is a artist if you could PM me some feedback (positive, negative, little of both) I will pass it on to him.

The work looks great. Very clean lines. I'm assuming just a white paint marker?

I've been doing these spraypaint space themed pieces lately and I'm seriously debating doing one on the dash

Changed the factory trans and diff oil fills out for some Motul Gear 300 today at ~4500 miles.

Trans oil and drain plug looked good to me. Bit more metal sludge on the plug than I'd expect, but it seemed reasonable considering what some people are finding. I think the stick moves a bit more smoothly now, but it's not really a huge difference. I've only driven it once with the new oil so far though. We'll see after a few days.

The diff, however... The amount of metal dust/sludge in the oil was disconcerting. The plug looked like everyone else's though so hopefully it's no big deal. The (red-ish) oil that came out seemed fairly opaque in the drain pan which was also unsettling. Kind of wished I'd flushed it out a bit instead of just refilling it, but oh well.

Autocrossed C'thulhu at Circuit of the Americas today. We both had a great time shredding stock rubber.

One thing that has irked me since I got my car a few months ago were the factory exhaust tips. I ordered OEM JDM tips on July 11th from Japan Parts and they already came in. 5 min later, I am much happier. I definitely want to get an aftermarket exhaust in the future but since I daily the car, I don't want to attract too much negative attention from the state police (they are notoriously painful when it comes to aftermarket exhaust here in MA)

Also, gave the car a bath. I noticed some waxy residue on the rockers, I figure this is normal from the door hinges?

Nice that's similar to my setup. I have the 2.5" unresonated though. How loud is it in the cabin.? I'm trying to decide if it will be too loud with the unresonated catback
