Of course we did testing with the C38! The thread has moved pretty fast, but we shared some early dyno results probably 20-30 pages back, prior to releasing the kit to the public. We also run the C38 on our own personal shop car.

@digital_assassin I installed my kit July 7.

Tune by Delicious Tuning (93 and 91 octane maps with launch control and auto blip feature), stock header/exhaust, ROBISPEC radiator/oil cooler.

Perhaps there will be a header added later but staying stock on exhaust for now - I like the quiet.

Stock radiator fans sufficient with any of the aftermarket radiators? Just asking before I put mine on this weekend. Not sure I can justify getting aftermarket ones as I think the radiator itself will do the job. Once this goes on, it's supercharger time!

If day they are adequate, but having a bigger fans couldn't hurt, depending on the cost. I haven't priced them myself

In our testing, aftermarket fans on a stock radiator generally have proven to work better than stock fans on an aftermarket radiator.

Downside is the fans are louder.

Now I guess the question that could prevent me from installing the radiator from this weekend... fans easily doable with just intake removal or am I going to have to remove the entire front bumper and disassemble again? It's not crucial I have them right away, I just don't want to have to double back and disassemble something that I just put together like the SC kit, hence doing the radiator beforehand.

Which fans specifically and how were they mounted?

Iirc, you have to unbolt the top of the bumper to get to the metal support that goes down behind the middle of the fans. Other than that, no other work on the front end itself.

You'll have an easier time taking the fans off with the radiator out of the car; I've personally never done fans without taking the rad off.

Which radiator fans have you used? Are aftermarket fans with the stock radiator sufficient for your use? Do you feel they would be sufficient for spiritedly driving DD?

SPAL.

Even stock should be sufficient for spirited street driving.

That's what I'll most likely be doing. I'll keep the stock fans and just monitor the temps.
