Gauge Pods
Hey,
New to the forum, I just bought a 2015 BRZ Aozora Edition and I looking at a turbo install from Full Blown, I want to install gauges, I cannot seem to find any gauge pods at a decent affordable price. I am looking at installing a total of 8 gauges in total, so 3 in pillar, 3 in the passenger dash and 2 either column mounted or just above the middle vents? I know that's a whole shit load of gauges, but I am planning on pushing the capacities of this car and want the most look on temps and etc. I could remove 2 gauges(oil pressure and Pre-Post Intercooler Temp Sensors). |

I saw that, but so many options and none are really "buy online" type...
Most are too expensive, one of them is $295.00 for one pillar pod for 1 or 2. I might have to the Universal way and mod that. |

Honestly there are none at reasonable price. Cheapest is universal and you make it to fit.

You don't need 8 gauges, haha. Get the AC vent gauge (P3Cars) and be done with it or at least cut that number in half.
Which 6/7 gauges are more important than oil pressure? Check this thread for another alternative to littering your interior with gauges and pods: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23530

ft86speedfactory had some. Not sure if it's affordable according to your standards.

![]() The one major piece of data Torque will not give you is oil pressure, because this car does not have a real oil pressure transducer. The stock oil pressure sender only gives an on/off signal to the idiot light in the dash at some ridiculously low pressure when it's already too late. If you want oil pressure, you'll have to install a sender and separate gauge. (I have a gauge out of a crashed Beechcraft airplane that will eventually go in mine in place of that 1980s digital clock, whenever I get the time to install it.) |

I have the Cravenspeed flex pod which looks okay but the right side one blocks stuff you may be interested in seeing like the coolant needle. It's 52mm and I use it for the AEM failsafe.
I have a Greddy Multi D/A gauge in my vent, it's 62mm and fits great. More of a DIY though. It also displays three different things at the same time on the gauge but has hookups for pretty much everything. They've discontinued the old model but you can still find them for sale, they said there is a new version coming out. |
