So my car is flashed with OFT... Has anyone had any issues connecting? Or do I have to flash to stock.

It connects but no parameters are found.
Using Techstream 9.00.025

What is it with this edit the VerApp.ini that NO ONE provides the mysterious "edit" for? This is what mine reads:

[Version]
Version=9.10.017
Date=2014/03/18

And the file is in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Toyota Diagnostics\Techstream\bin directory.

Any help on EXACTLY where to enter that mysterious serial # would be great.

You don't have to edit it if I remember correctly. What OS are you running on the laptop? When I get off in 6 hours I can walk you through exactly what I did. Including bypassing the drivers for windows 7-8 if you got xp drivers with yours.

Windows 7. My problem is the serial number I think. The driver's I'm 90% sure I installed correctly.

The bluetooth adapters you're thinking of are ELM327 and this requires capabilities that those adapters don't provide.

A Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 is the best option and you can use it for standalone logging and flashing as well.

Been running v9.00.025 since release with no problems, any reason to update to latest version?

Any kind of added features or enhancements?

Has anyone successfully used Techstream to program TPMS sensors on a BRZ?

I tried and got an error which I have a screenshot saved somewhere..

It found the ECU, it just came up as a Scion/FR-S/2013/FA20 and VIN. But after entering the 4th code it gave some error about initialization something or the other..

I have not found any way to get the sensor ID's to save to the car using techstream using a mini-VCI cable from Taiwan. Maybe it works with a legit Toyota cable, I don't know. I eventually just got a TPMS tool for $150 to do my winter/summer swaps.
