If you get your FR-S by May 18th you should take her to MId-Ohio JUne 8th to show her off. I would bet she would draw one of the biggest crowd of gawkers. And that is with an infield full of Porches, Ferraris, Audi R8s, Vettes-Camaro-Stang, GTRs etc etc. Not too long a drive for you from Mason and a fun weekend. All the best races are on Saturday ie. Rolex DP and GT and Continental Tire Challenge classes.

There's a Cinci region SCCA event up there in early July that I thought about, but track insurance and fees together are about $350. You get 4 20 minute driving sessions, but I think I'm going to hold off on PDX/HPDE for a bit.

I've never seen floor mats standard on a Toyota/Scion. They're usually $200-$300.

EDIT: But as Dadhawk has shown me, they ARE standard on the FR-S according to the features list @ scion.com

Based on the Scion site standard features list, they are standard equipment on the FR-S.

No email for me, but I'm guessing mine is coming through Jacksonville, FL.

Well now I can't say I've never seen that anymore. Thanks for telling me.

Yeah June 8th is a professional event. Admission is only $25 for a full day of spectating. I just meant you could put that whole "First 86" thing to good use and get some much deserved attention. I bet a lot of people would like to see the car being street driven (including me). LOL Anyway, enjoy it when it gets here. There will be a whole lot of jealous people on this forum until they get theirs.

Congrats Brett. I'm a bit jealous... just a bit...

Ha. There are lots of whiteout fans. I was going to go with Argento (Silver) but decided on White instead. I'd be happy with the silver as well, but the white just looks stellar on this car.

Ugh just had a quick chat with the regional manager. She just found out that our region's cars are still in Japan . However, they're getting on the boat tomorrow, and they will be rushed once they hit the port in about 7-10 days.

I also asked if the 18 May target was nation wide, and she said it was.

As will all info, it isn't real until I have the keys in my hand.
