My First 86 car is in country
 

It's a small world y'all. My former neighbor is a regional manager for Toyota/Scion. She just called to tell me that my car is at the port, and they're aiming to have our regions' First 86er's cars here by May 18th. The rest of the people in my region (someone in KY, Akron, Columbus, and one other) should be getting an email from her shortly.

She said she's already working with the dealers to make sure no one but us gets to test drive our cars. The dealer will take it for a quick checkout ride where they make sure the car survived shipping and that's it.

First 86 = FR-S

It's a Whiteout FRS. I was originally signed up for Asphalt, but The Whiteout looked so nice when we were in Cali that I decided to switch.

Hmm.. I wonder why it takes so long from the port to the dealer. A full month seems like a long time. And at what point do they ask us what options we want? I'd heard that they were going to possibly be installed at the port.
