After I spend all the money needed to buy this car, I'm pretty much done. It would have to be something really special. Not feelin' it with what I see out there right now.

well seeing as how I want to get this car sponsored its not gonna stay stock for long lol, I may wait a month, and drive the hell out of it on the back roads here, then try and get sponsered. If I dont get sponsered, wheels/tires, intake, exhaust, body kit(later), etc etc bit by bit until its pretty much a track car on the street

Because I would fly to Japan and smack Tetsuya Tada in the face if he did. The 86 is a sports car, not a wannabe racer.

I love 3 spoke, circle, steering wheels that aren't too big, which is exactly what the FR-S and BRZ have! It's the standard for sports cars IMO. A flat bottom wheel would be more suited for formula cars.

need a fourth option

Semi-stock. Want lighter wheels, better tires (probably same size), after market adjustable shocks, anti-sway bar and a cat back. Reduce weight and fine tune handling.

I voted stock because the mods will be minor.

There should have been a fifth categories for autox stocks mods.

For the Argento I have as a First 86er, only thing going on it is the Five Axis kit I ordered yesterday. I've got a preorder for a Hot Lava automatic that I'll get hopefully in summer, and that one I'll mod.

Mostly stock but when warranty ends. Beef up suspension, cold air intake, and exhaust. Wait and see about supercharger.

Seriously? this many ppl will keep the car stock? I doubt it! This car is probably the most mod friendly car out there at the moment!

I already have my friends at Revozport ready to produce dry carbon everything for the car.

Here is a list of what I have in mind in terms of weight reduction, all these cf parts should shed at least 100-150lbs off the car!
CF Roof, trunk lid, hood, full doors, fenders, interior trim, Recaro or Bride CF seat.
F: 6pot R:4pot BBK
19" RE30 or ADV.1 wheels
HKS Hipermax Pro
stiffing sway bars
header back straight titanium exhaust, preferably if amuse is making one. otherwise I'll have Amuse's OEM factory produce a one off for me.

definitely getting the HKS supercharger, used it before on a VQ35DE, the rotorex charger is just fantastic.

my goal is to have about 100lbs shed and a gain of 50-60rwhp.

Why is it so hard to believe? I don't see how it's more "mod friendly" than anything else. You can put new exhaust, suspension, wheels, tires, etc. on damn near any car just as easily and see benefits.

Again, the car is plenty capable in stock form; if it weren't, it wouldn't be getting such positive reviews. Also, I think the crowd has matured slowly and across the board, as a lot of people don't want to deal with problems with law enforcement, reliability, warranty claims, smog checks, etc. anymore, especially since most people likely won't ever approach the stock car's limits.

I figure most people will likely just swap tires, maybe even wheels, and call it a day. Some will see lowering springs and exhaust too.

Out of curiosity, what do you plan to do with your car? Is it going to see the track?

Engine: Cold Air Intake, Exhaust, ECU tuning, Maybe Cams, valve springs, and retainers. should bump me up to 200-210 whp which is perfect for circuit racing.

Suspension: Coilovers & Strut Bar

Brakes: Upgraded rotors, lines , & Race Pads, maybe later down the road a front BBK on a car so light i dont think that will be needed though.

Exterior: Maybe an APR wing if traction becomes a prob which i dont think it will, Front APR splitter when released, Tow Hooks Front & Rear.

Interior: Stripped out interior either a sparco or recaro racing bucket, Welded Cage, schroth racing 6 point harness, fire suppression system, and FAST helmet cooling system.

Wheels: Enkei RPF1 17" for the track & VOLK TE37SL 18" for the street.

Tires: NT-01's or NT-05's for the track & Invos for the street.
sounds like you have a lot of spare cash to throw around
