If you are considering a sunshade, I would definitely recommend this. It's very sturdy, it folds neatly to put behind the passenger seat, the reflective material is nice, it fits PERFECTLY, and it's one of the cheaper options that is designed for our car at $48 shipped. It even comes down enough for alarm systems (like mine) or dash cams. Hopefully it helps fight off that Florida sun. It looks identical to the pricey Subaru stamped one, so I wonder if they just put their name on it and spiked up the price.

Which eclipse did you get?I see they don't have one for our cars. I have tinted windshield so I an hesitant to glue something to it.
Gotta pull trigger son. This heat is killer

This is correct. I got the OEM Suby model (and paid $70 for it). Also got the Covercraft for my wife's car. It's definitely the same thing.. same great quality made by same company, BUT.. $48.

So, if you don't feel like shelling out extra $20 for the Suby logo, save some cash and go with Covercraft.

That's a good question. I don't remember exactly. I think you can get one based on size. Try calling them, I'm sure they'd be able to figure out for you.

and it uses 3m double sided sticky tape. shouldn't do damage to your tint, I wouldn't imagine

I've got an old sunshade that's almost 10 years old now, still works good but I might upgrade to one of those covercraft shades like Husker's. That one looks great.

Was sitting in my car today and put the sunshade up while I put some vinyl cleaner / conditioner to the dash, armrests, and center console; with the sunshade up I ran the engine for a minute to run A/C, then turned it off and realized my car was sitting in direct sunlight, but I was still cool sitting under the sunshade. These things work!

Also, for those curious about the blue side vs mirrored side on a sunshade, here's a discussion from metafilter: http://ask.metafilter.com/92564/Shou...y-car-sunshade

Work as well a traditional shade? Any downsides ?

It doesn't keep the car as cool as a reflective sunshade, but I think the convenience of it outweighs that con for me. I would say it blocks out about 70% of what a reflective one would block out

@DC2R They do on their yahoo site. I think they sent me a 21" but I don't remember. I had the eclipse sunshade for years on my altima and it was great and extremely convenient and out of the way. However, with this car the windshield is a little too curvy to get complete coverage to where I wanted so I returned it. You may be fine with it though, but I wanted complete full coverage (which I did have with the altima).

I ended up with the covercraft, and it works great(still wish it was the eclipse though haha).

Yeah gonna go with cover craft. This Miami heat on asphalt FR-S is killer.
