Can anyone confirm if 18x8.5 +33 clears the 08-12 STi Brembo brake calipers?

I have these wheels on my car and am about to pull the trigger on brembos but I don't think they'll fit

Thanks!

Cheapest i found for 18x9.5, Is this site legit? http://www.emnotek.com/p-5557-gram-l...uiwDP89VfD_BwE

Also any recommendation for tires on 18x9.5? I can get wheels for invoice price from discount tire and the guy told me that brands like yokohama and hankook would get me the biggest savings compared to michelin and goodyear.

Just letting you know the 18x8.5 +33's clear the brembos on the front by about an inch. I fitted them this weekend....

I have a black BRZ I want these wheels BADLY in 18x9.5 +40 in either semi gloss black or matte gunmetal I haven't seen black on black is why Im debating on the color. I read a lot that this set up wont fit on stock suspension. I WOULD BE FOREVER IN THE PERSONS DEBIT IF THEY CAN HELP ME OUT. Im so desperate for these wheels. Im deployed just got enough for the wheels themselves and can do coilovers soon as well. I just am not sure what to do as these are my first wheels im buying. Someone please help me... ive seen some guy do a -2 camber all the way around. and it was flush and it looked like it was clean and sitting down perfectly. Anyone again ill be in your debit.

These wheels look horrible at stock ride height IMO, but they do "fit".

Remember that as the suspension travels, there is natural camber.

Personally, I'm running MCA Red series coilovers and rear Whiteline KCA326 camber adjusters.

I have -1.25deg camber all around and my wheel centre to guard measurement is 355mm, which is the recommended ride height for maximum performance for this car by most aftermarket suspension manufacturers. That's about a 1 inch drop, and I have 122mm clearance from the lowest point of the car to the ground (2cm above legal here in NSW, Australia)

Pics are above for reference.

thank you Sir, but I do plan on dropping her an inch as well but I want a square set up of 18x9.5 +40 on maybe 265/35/18... do you think that's manageable? also the front will be poking out some how would I fix that?

I don't know exactly how much I lowered it. The majority of those pictures were taken right after the coilovers were installed, but I'd say it has probably settled to about a 1-1.25"drop. The front pokes a little, maybe 1/4"with the natural camber that came from lowering it. It bugs me enough that I just bought camber bolts to help make it a little less noticeable, but I haven't had a chance to install yet.

That setup should work if you stay with a mild drop. I had ordered 255s based on my research but the damn shop messed up the order. 265's will probably need fender rolling to avoid rubbing.
